Single mum’s wing mirrors smashed in Littleover hit-and-run

A single parent in Littleover is appealing for witnesses after a hit-and-run incident.

The incident happened left their car’s side mirror shattered. The collision occurred at around 8:50 am on Wednesday, November 6.

The victim was driving along Hillway en route to Burton Road. A speeding car struck her vehicle.

Narrating the Littleover hit-and-run, the victim said: “I got out to see if they had stopped, but no, they’d gone”.

The damage has left the parent struggling to drive safely. This, she says, is on top of the daily difficulties of making ends meet.

The victim is urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident or knows the driver to come forward. She said: “If they know who they are and would like to do the right thing and contact me.

“It would be the right thing to do. I’d appreciate any help from anyone who might have seen what happened.”
