
A Land Rover crashed into a bridge in Derbyshire killing a man in his 50s at the scene this morning.
The victim of the accident was driving a Land Rover when his car hit a bridge. He was killed in the crash.
The accident happened around 8.30 in the morning. The Land Rover crashed into a bridge on the B5053 Buxton Road between Buxton and Longnor.

Police confirmed the death. A spokesperson for Derby Police said: “A man has died following a collision near Buxton. The incident occurred on the B5053 Buxton Road between Buxton and Longnor just before 8.30 am on Thursday 14 November.”
“The driver of the Land Rover, a man in his 50s, was pronounced dead at the scene.”

An investigation has since been launched. Anyone in the area who witnessed it or recorded it on dashcam is asked to come forward.
