A woman was sent to hospital after she hit a parked in town on Monday.
The driver of a White VW Polo hit a blue Saab 900. The incident happened on Gower Street, in the city centre.
Emergency services attended the scene, after the accident which happened just before 6 pm on Monday, January 13.

A video from the scene shows security of a nearby building milling around the car. Shortly after Derbyshire Fire and Rescue together with police and ambulance services arrive.

What happened when a woman hit a parked car in Derby?
A person can be heard crying hysterically in the background. Police say she suffered minor injuries from the crash.
A spokesperson for the force said: “We received reports of a collision in Gower Street, Derby, just before 6 pm on Monday 13 January.

“The incident involved a VW Polo which had been in collision with a parked Saab 900. The driver of the Polo was taken to hospital but her injuries are not thought to be serious.”
