Masked vandal spray paints CCTV and door on Church Brow in Chapel-en-le-Frith

A masked vandal has been captured on CCTV vandalising a door in a Derbyshire village.

The incident, captured on CCTV, shows a masked man wearing hooded jacked and dark pants. Police say the man approached a front door in Chapel-en-le-Frith and spray-painted it.

Police are now appealing for help in identifying the man who spray-painted over a resident’s CCTV camera and front door. The incident occurred early on Saturday, November 2, around 1:30 am at the bottom of Church Brow, near its junction with Market Street.

According to police reports, a masked man approached the property. He obscured the CCTV lens with spray paint.

The masked vandal then similarly defaced the front door. Authorities have yet to release further details about the suspect’s appearance.
